North Reading Rotary's main objective is service in the community and workplace using its funds to award three annual scholarships for North Reading seniors, sponsor the graduating seniors' All-Night Party and to support the local food pantry. Rotarians hold an annual Christmas luncheon and caroling event at Peabody Court and support other community service projects that address children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy and violence.

They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers and other professionals. The Rotary motto is “Service Above Self”.
